A classic refreshing "sour" cocktail with multiple variants. It is essentially a spiked sparkling lemonade, garnished with a lemon slice and a cherry.

Scale:

Ingredients

Yield: 1 glass

60 ml carbonated water
45 ml gin
100 g ice
5 g (=1 slice per glass) lemon
30 ml lemon juice (or 30 mL sour mix)
5 g maraschino cherries
15 ml simple syrup (or 30 mL sour mix)

Preparation

Step 1

Fill 1 collins glass with 100 g ice.

Step 2

Add 15 ml simple syrup, 30 ml lemon juice, 45 ml gin and stir with a bar spoon. You can replace the simple syrup and lemon juice by 30 mL sour mix

Step 3

Top with 60 ml carbonated water, and gently stir.

Step 4

Garnish with a 5 g (=1 slice per glass) lemon and 5 g maraschino cherries.
